blankets & throws

I begin a lot of blankets. They takes ages, and then I run out of nice colours (I insist on only making blankets from scraps, rarely buying any yarn for them) so they remain as medium-sized throws for many years.

The colours are poorly represented here but the patterns are clear enough. The granny squares follow a strict rule of light-dark-light or dark-light-dark, but other than that I try and balance it as best I can with what I have.
