socks with cables

I made some chunkier socks for my sister, roughly following the same pattern as 'bed socks' (my post here, pattern here); but taking inspiration for the cables from this lovely pattern.

The wool is from Lincraft - it's called Alpine Tweed. I used just over two balls.
